The Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act was enacted by the Parliament of Canada in May 2023 and came into force on January 1, 2024. The purpose of the Act is to implement Canada’s international commitment to contribute to the fight against forced labour and child labour through certain reporting obligations.
